On August 23, 2011, Nevada HOSA State President Tazia Statucki was asked to accompany State Secretary Jenny Tenorio to represent Nevada HOSA at Clark High School’s Freshman Orientation. Once Tazia and Jenny arrived, they met up with the Clark High School HOSA chapter officers and got to know each other a bit more.

After the main orientation, freshmen were free to browse club and organization booths. Jenny and Tazia provided the chapter officers with some quick tips for recruiting before parents and students began to approach the booth.

The few hours of recruiting was a success and Clark High School HOSA was able to have over 30 new students sign the interest form for joining HOSA!

Tazia and Jenny had a great time helping recruit members at Clark High School and are glad to see its membership growing as the state sets its sights on its membership goal of over 1,000 members.
